Byly jsme v Amsterdamu! A jak vypadal náš první den?
Jelikož mám fotek fakt požehnaně, nejde to jinak, než dny rozdělit. Navíc jsme třetí den jely na výlet, a to si určitě zaslouží samostatný článek.
No a jak tedy vypadal náš první den? Byly jsme ubytované v hotelu asi cca 20 minut tramvají z centra. Jo a... do Amstru jsem jela s Ivet, kdyby vás to zajímalo.
První den (jelikož jsme tam přijely ve středu někdy v 8 hodin večer), jsme začínaly ve čtvrtek asi v 8 a první zastávkou byla snídaně. Na Instagramu jsem našla podnik zvaný PLUK a tedy, to co vypadá dobře na IG, není vždy super i ve skutečnosti. Jakože špatné to nebylo, vůbec, ale spíš jak to pak vypadalo nebo lépe řečeno ten overall pocit z toho. Sezení bylo nahoře, lezlo se tam po příkrých schodech, člověk si musel odnést pití sám, zklidnit po sobě nádobí do nádoby u schodů, záchod rozbitej, no jako...
Zjistila jsem nicméně, že vedle byl podnik od stejného majitele REE7, a to vypadalo tedy mnohem lépe, víc i takový cosy interiér a hlavně... funkční záchody :D
No nic, takže dál jsme směřovaly k domu Anny Frank. Tam tedy bylo šíleně lidí, lístky vyprodané a nakonec jsme zjistily, že to stejně je včetně nějaké tour po městě po židovských stopách. Pokračovaly jsme tak dál směr náměstí DAM a kochaly se a nasávaly ten Amstr vibe - kanály, domky.
Vsuvka - a co počasí? Počasí nám první den docela vyšlo, ráno cestou na snídani tedy sprchlo, ale pak už bylo hezky až do večera, kdy tedy zase začalo dost pršet a nás to stihlo na naší poslední zastávce. Ale teplotně docela zima a celou dobu bylo kolem 13 stupňů.
Po návštěvě náměstí jsme šly směr Red Light District, což je taky vtipný, že jsem věděla, jasně, je tam červená výzdoba, červený světla, ale nevěděla a nepátrala jsem po tom, co to je. :D No teď už vím.
Celkově jsme se tam v okolí procházely a jen tak potloukaly, viděly Nieuwe Kerk, Oude Kerk, a pak se vydaly směr Amstrdam Centraal a přírodovědecké museum NEMO.
Do musea jsem nešly dovnitř, a když se zamyslím, tak vlastně ani nikam takhle z museí, moc nás to nelákalo a spíš jsme si chtěly užívat ten vibe a chodit venku, když bylo hezky. Cestou z NEMA, jsme, jak jinak, zamířily zase zpět ke kanálům, ale objevily fakt krásnou oblast, kde to vypadalo kouzelně, takové lepší domky a vypadalo to fakt krásně.
Měly jsme celkově super čas a jelikož jsme od rána chodily, šly jsme si sednout na vínko (Ivet nealko samozřejmě) a to bych nebyla já, nebo spíš moje smůla :D, nervní u vína jsem tam ještě pracovala a postovala stories... no co už. Ještě před vínkem jsme ale ještě prošly Chinatown a navštívily temple, abych nezapomněla.
Na víně Ivet bookla Adam's pointview, takže po prolezení města, vydání se k Rembrandt House a Waag, jsme se vydaly na trajekt k Amstrdam Centraal a vydaly se tam. Bohužel na trajektu začalo pršet a déšť ten den už neustoupil. To nám tedy jediné moc nevyšlo, na střechu, kde to bylo pak samozřejmě otevřené jsme sice vyšly, ale nedalo se tam být, ne ani tak kvůli dešti, ale šíleně tam foukalo. Takže to je mi jedné líto, že jsme nenechaly na další den, jelikož druhý den bylo hezky a dokonce by byl i západ.
Kousek od Centraal jsem pak našla super restauraci s hodnocením 4.4, myslím, že jméno bylo Lucca Due a já si dala (kromě vína:D) těstoviny s krevetami a byly naprosto BO-ŽÍ. Ivet tentokrát zvolila špagety s meatballs a taky chuťově prý super.
Takže to byl náš den č. 1 v Amstru a už brzy vám sem hodím ty následující. Těšíte se?

Since I have a lot of photos, I can't do anything else but divide the days. Moreover, on the third day we went on a trip, and that definitely deserves a separate article.
So how did our first day look like? We stayed in a hotel about 20 minutes by tram from the centre. Oh, and... I went to Amster with Ivet, in case you were wondering.
Our first day (since we got there on Wednesday) started at about 8pm and our first stop was breakfast. I found a place called PLUK on Instagram and thus, what looks good on IG isn't always great in reality. Like it wasn't bad at all, but more how it looked afterwards or rather the overall feeling of it. The seating was upstairs, there were steep stairs to climb, you had to carry your own drinks, clean up after yourself in a container by the stairs, the toilet was broken, well like...
However, I found out that next door was a place from the same owner REE7, and it looked much better, more cosy interior and most importantly... functional toilets :D
Anyway, so next we headed to Anne Frank's house. So it was crazy crowded there, tickets sold out, and we eventually found out that it was including some Jewish footsteps tour of the city anyway. So we continued on towards the DAM square, enjoying and soaking up the Amster vibe - the canals, the houses.
Insertion - what about the weather? The weather was quite good on the first day, it rained in the morning on the way to the breakfast, but then it was nice until the evening, when it started to rain again and caught us at our last stop. But the temperature was quite cold and it was around 13 degrees the whole time of our trip.
After visiting the square we walked towards the Red Light District, which is also funny, I knew, yeah, there's red decorations, red lights, but I didn't know and didn't look up what it was. :D Well, now I know.
All in all, we walked around and just hung out in the area, saw Nieuwe Kerk, Oude Kerk, and then headed towards Amstrdam Centraal and the NEMO Natural History Museum.
We didn't go inside the museum, and come to think of it, we didn't really go inside any of the museums like that either, we weren't really into it and more just wanted to enjoy the vibe and hang out when it was nice. On the way out of NEMA, we headed back to the canals, as it were, but discovered a really beautiful area where it looked charming, these better houses and it looked really nice.
We had a great time overall and since we had been walking since morning, we went to sit down for wine (Ivet non-alcoholic of course) and that wouldn't have been me, or rather my bad luck :D, nervous over wine I was still there working and posting stories... oh well. Before wine though, we still walked around Chinatown and visited the temple, lest I forget.
On the wine Ivet booked Adam's pointview, so after crawling around town, heading to Rembrandt House and Waag, we took the ferry to Amstrdam Centraal and headed there. Unfortunately it started to rain on the ferry and the rain didn't let up that day. So that was the only thing that didn't work out, we did go up on the roof where it was then open of course, but it was impossible to be up there, not so much because of the rain, but it was crazy windy. So that's one regret we didn't leave for another day, as the next day was nice and would have even been sunset.
Then I found a cool restaurant not far from Centraal with a 4.4 rating, I think the name was Lucca Due, and I had (besides the wine :D) pasta with shrimp and it was absolutely amazing. Ivet chose spaghetti and meatballs this time and it tasted great too.
