AMSTERDAM - DAY 2

Den dva v Amsterdamu, here we go.

Naše kroky pak směřovaly k Rijksmusem a odtud do centra k Bloemenmarket, kde jsme pokoupily holandskĂ˝ tulipány a ještÄ› nÄ›jakĂ© malĂ© kravinky.

ObÄŤerstvenĂ nesmÄ›lo chybÄ›t, takĹľe Ivet potom šla na waffle, kterĂ© v okolĂ vidÄ›la na IG a já, protoĹľe jsem vlastnÄ› uĹľ den nemÄ›la kafe, si zašla do Starbucks na kafe.

A tak jsme mohly dál pokraÄŤovat k mostu Magere Brug a následnÄ› k botanickĂ© zahradnÄ›/sklenĂku Hortus Botanicus. Nešly jsme tedy taky dovnitĹ™, protoĹľe zvenku nám to nepĹ™išlo nic moc a ani moc velkĂ©.

---

The next day, Ivet and I slept till a bit later, until about 8 so that we could go to breakfast at 9. This time I found a great spot again, namely Dignita Amsterdam.

I was looking for a breakfast spot mainly around the park, which is where we wanted to go anyway. It was Rembrandt Park, however it was really more of the kind of park where dog walkers or people go to run around, but nothing that would be super nice for photos or for tourists. Anyway, we took a little walk and then off to breakfast.

I had eggs benedict, which were a bit "pouted" and served sort of on a potato pancake, and Ivet had pancakes and both chai lattes to drink. I have to say, though, that both of them tasted really great.

After breakfast we went to another park - Vondelpark, where there was this cute little gazebo and especially tulips in pots just floating around. Our steps then went to the Rijksmusem and from there to the Bloemenmarket in the centre, where we bought Dutch tulips and some other little stuff and souvenierss.

Snacks were not to be missed, so Ivet then went for a waffle she had seen on IG in the area and I, since I hadn't actually had a coffee in a day, went to Starbucks for a coffee.

That left us to continue on to the Magere Brug bridge and then the Hortus Botanicus botanical garden/greenhouse. So we didn't go inside either, because it didn't look like much from the outside, and it wasn't very big either.

About a kilometer away was our last stop of the day, the De Gooyer windmill. We really had a lot of time, and since Ivet promised my dad to bring a football jersey, we picked up and drove to the football stadium about 30min away. This way we "killed" about an hour of our time, and then we crossed back to the center and walked towards the bar where we sat the previous day, however, for a change I sat in the garden of the bar that was across the street from the previous one and just watched the people and life around.

Since we had really seen everything on our list, just actually crossed one place a bit from the morning, I figured we'd take a walk back to where we were in the morning, and so we had about 2 km to walk through the city, but again we got somewhere else we might not have gone at all and we can really say we totally passed Amster.

So we went back to the Rijksmuseum sa Van Gogh Museum, just walked it through the park and sort of "from behind". Sat on a bench there for a while and just chilled for a while, because there was a general area where people were sitting on a hill. And because Ivet wasn't feeling well, we skipped dinner that night and just went to Albert to buy food, even for the trip the next day.

Then it was a slow walk to the hotel, where we arrived again after about 8pm, looked at photos, checked the internet, made stories (of course) and most importantly packed, because the next day we had to check out, take a trip and go to the airport.

Can you guess what trip we went on?
