Restaurace v srdci Covent Garden, kde dříve stála restaurace Jamieho Olivera, a kde je to neustále nacpané turisty, to je Buns and Buns.
Buns and Buns is located right in the heart of Covent Garden in the building of market.
The restaurant itself is surprisingly quite large and what I enjoyed was that you could see the dishes preparing in the kitchen. As Convent Garden itself is the center, there were mostly tourists, a lot of tourists!
The menu of the restaurant is also very interesting, you can see on my starter, the bun with wild mushrooms. I have to say it was sooo good and also the bun was soft and light. I took Dominika again, who had a baked cauliflower with dressing and that was also very good. For drink I had a raspberry spritzer, which was luxurious, so I ordered it one more time, and Dominika had a homemade peach tea that you could say 100% that it was homemade and super orange juice.
Unfortunately, the main dishes were not good as starters and drinks. My calamari salad was so salty, as was Dominica's roast chicken with broccoli and carrot. Unfortunately, the chefs overcame our food with a salt and I could not even finished my salad.
So I improve it with a dessert, which was again luxurious - cheesecake, but the salty mains were really shame, otherwise Dominica's food would be so good as well as mine. Maybe next time.:)
