Naší poslední zastávkou v Brightonu co se jídla týká byla skvělá restaurace Bankers Fish and Chips, a jak se říká, to nejlepší na konec.
Do Bankers jsme se vydaly v neděli na oběd. A už předem jsem věděla, že to bude skvělé!
Měly jsme předkrm, hlavní chod a dezert a všechno bylo skvělé!
Já si jako předkrm objednala kalamáry (pokud je mají, vždy vyberu kalamáry) a Dominika zvolila uzeného lososa s řepou. Jako hlavní chod si Domča vybrala klasické Fish and Chips s enormní porcí hranolek a já si vybrala special of the day kterým byl vařený losos na víně s bylinkami, salátem a místo hranolek jsem poprosila o nové brambory. Musím říci, že až na salát jsem to snědla vše, jelikož to bylo tak výborné!!!
Kolem oběda se navíc restaurace začala fakt plnit, ale i přesto jsme měli jídlo relativně rychle, obsluha super, všechno super. Dokonce za námi přišel i kuchař, který s shodou okolností byl Slovák.
K dezertu jsem chtěla něco lehkého, protože jsme byla fakt přecpaná. Normálně bych volila brownie nebo jablečný koláč, teď trochu lituji, že jsem si to nedala, ale v té situaci, kdy jsem byla absolutně přecpaná jsem zvolila pohár, kvůli ovoci a Dominika puding.
Všechno bylo doopravdy naprosto skvělé, a pokud budu v Brightonu, určitě jdu zase tam! Plus tam dělají takeaway fish and chips, na které byla fronta, takže pokud někdy budete v Brightonu, nutně tam!! Maximálně doporučuji.

We went to Bankers for lunch on Sunday. And I knew in advance that it would be great!
We had starter, main course and dessert and everything was great!
I ordered calamari as a starter (if the restaurants have them on menu I always go for them) and Dominika chose smoked salmon with beetroot. As the main course Domča chose classic Fish and Chips with an enormous portion of French fries and I chose a special of the day which was cooked salmon in wine with herbs, vegetable salad and I asked for new potatoes instead of chips. I have to say that except of a bit of salad I ate it all, because it was just so great!!!
The restaurant started to fill up so much around the lunch, but we got our food so fast anyway, the service amazing, everything was just so great. Even a chef went to say hi to as and found out he was Slovak which was even better surprise.
I wanted something light for dessert because I was absolutely full. Normally I would choose brownie or apple pie, now I regret that I didn't, but in that situation where I was absolutely crowded I decided to chose a fruit with ice cream, just because of fruit and Dominika went for pudding.
Everything was really great, and if I'm in Brighton, I definitely go back there! Plus there are takeaway fish and chips on which there was a long queue, so if you will be ever in Brighton, go there!! I highly recommend it.
